Brussels 13 11 2012 – ensemble2générations have won first prize in the European Year of Solidarity between Generations, Social Entrepreneurs category.
Association founder, Typhaine de Penfentenyo, received this prestigious award on behalf of ensemble2générations from Làszlo Andor, the EU Commissioner for Employment, Social Affairs and Inclusion.
Founded in 2006, ensemble2générations has helped more than 900 students in finding accommodation in exchange for offering support to an elderly person.
An extension of this program is being considered in Luxembourg, Switzerland and Japan
