Mark your calendars and plan to join us for the 2024 World Homeshare Congress in Trento, Italy.
Hosted by Associazione A.M.A.- project VIVO.CON, the Congress will begin on the afternoon of Thursday, September 5. There will be a Welcome Dinner / Birthday Party on Thursday evening celebrating Homeshare International’s 25th anniversary and VIVO.CON’s 15 years of service to the people of Trento. Congress sessions will continue through to the afternoon of September 7th.
The Planning Committee comprises members from both Italy and Homeshare International trustees: Chairs Zilma Lucia Velame and Régis de Kerautem, members Estelle de Saint-Bon, Giuliana Costa, Paolo Boccagni, Sibel Whitehead and Stefano Sarzi Sartori, with organization / logistical support by Marta Spanevello.
Congress sessions will be in both Italian and English.
It is with much disappointment and great reluctance that Homeshare International and THE HomeShare announce the cancellation of the Dublin World Homeshare Congress which was to have been held in May 2023.
This difficult decision is due to the uncertainty of Covid-19, current inflation and the high costs of accommodation for visitors and delegates in Dublin.
Events like conferences have been impossible to run or even plan with any confidence for the last 3 years.
We felt optimistic back in early 2021 that we could think ahead and start planning for a super congress in gorgeous Dublin – in Dublin Castle no less!
But the global financial uncertainty that we see unfolding before us now – less than 12 months out from our advertised conference dates – confronts us with such uncertainty and financial risk that we simply have no choice but to make this hard decision.
So back to the drawing board to plan for something achievable ON-LINE in 2023.
Homeshare International would like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank local Homeshare programme, THE HomeShare, for all their hard work over the last 12 months.
We also thank the Irish Government, in particular the Department of Health, for their support of the Congress as well as Failte Ireland and Dublin City Council.

Congratulations to Roberta Cerami and the rest of the team at THE HomeShare for the fantastic new logo for the upcoming World Homeshare Congress.
Homeshare International is delighted to announce that the 7th World Homeshare Congress — originally planned for 2021 but delayed due to Covid-19 — is going ahead. The event will take place in Dublin hosted by local organisation THE HomeShare (Together Helping Eachother).
Commenting on the announcement, founder and CEO of THE HomeShare Lucie Cunningham said, “We believe Ireland is well placed to host this exciting event. It will be a fantastic opportunity to showcase Ireland as the Irish Government is a world leader in incorporating the Homeshare model into its policy.”
