Launched in June 2021, HomeShare American River is a FREE, nonprofit housemate-matching and -support service that serves to quickly unlock rental income and affordability in the housing we already have.  Even better, match agreements often include exchanges of lower rent for affordable in-home services for "Hosts" (and thus informal employment for "Guests").  (Flyer linked here).

We make sharing a home or apartment safe, fair, valuable, and durable for seniors, workers, students, veterans, folks living with disabilities, etc.  We serve anywhere within one hour's drive of Roseville, including Sacramento, Nevada City, Placerville, Lodi, Dixon, and Yuba City.
