Congress Cancelled

It is with much disappointment and great reluctance that Homeshare International and THE HomeShare announce the cancellation of the Dublin World Homeshare Congress which was to have been held in May 2023.
This difficult decision is due to the uncertainty of Covid-19, current inflation and the high costs of accommodation for visitors and delegates in Dublin.
Events like conferences have been impossible to run or even plan with any confidence for the last 3 years.
We felt optimistic back in early 2021 that we could think ahead and start planning for a super congress in gorgeous Dublin – in Dublin Castle no less!
But the global financial uncertainty that we see unfolding before us now – less than 12 months out from our advertised conference dates – confronts us with such uncertainty and financial risk that we simply have no choice but to make this hard decision.

So it was back to the drawing board to plan for something achievable ON-LINE in 2023. Instead of the Congress, we are offering a series of sessions throughout the year starting September 2022. See HI in Conversation for details.

Save the Date!

Homeshare International is delighted to announce that the 7th World Homeshare Congress – originally planned for 2021 but delayed due to Covid-19 – is going ahead. It will take place May 25-26, 2023 at Dublin Castle in Dublin, Ireland hosted by local organisation THE HomeShare, and supported by Ireland’s Department of Health.

The opening reception will take place on Wednesday May 24th with congress sessions on Thursday May 25th and Friday 26th May 2023. Enjoy the Gala dinner on the night of Thursday 25th May.

Founder and CEO of THE HomeShare Lucie Cunningham says, “We believe Ireland is well placed to host this exciting event. It will be a fantastic opportunity to showcase Ireland as the Irish Government is among the first in the world to incorporate the Homeshare model into its policy development.
